Professional reel to reel tape machines are hard to come by these days. At Guerrilla we acquired a late 80's multi-track by Tascam. Formally Teac the Japanese company was a leader in reel to reel technology since the 1950's and by the 80's they'd got the technology down to a fine art. The MSR 16 is a super machine managing to squeeze 16 tracks onto half inch tape making for a compact and efficient unit. The built in dbx noise reduction and combination heads make recording a breeze. With a warm and punchy sound its a pleasure to record with this magnificent piece of engineering.
